Cara Delevingne stunned at the 2026 Met Gala on May 4, 2026, serving as an official livestream co-host while wearing a custom Ralph Lauren “naked dress”. The look featured a conservative black halter-neck front with a completely sheer, beaded back, perfectly embodying a daring “Costume Art” theme. A floor-length, jet-black halter gown with velvet mock-turtleneck styling, black mesh illusion cap sleeves, and a dramatically sheer back revealing a peacock-inspired design.
While Delevingne first attended the Met Gala in 2011, it’s in her more recent appearances that she’s gone all in on the themes. Most memorable, perhaps, is her rainbow-striped Dior look for “Camp: Notes on Fashion” in 2019, though her pseudo-pantsuit look from Dior in 2022 for “In America: An Anthology of Fashion” was also daring.
