Tyla Laura

Tyla attended the 2026 Met Gala wearing a custom, peacock-inspired outfit by Valentino. Designed by Alessandro Michele, the look featured a teal, low-rise satin skirt with a deep slit, paired with a plunging, rhinestone-encrusted tulle top and sparkling silver sequins to mimic peacock feathers. Her shimmering red carpet appearance was one of the standouts looks of the night, embracing the Costume Art-themed dress code. Clearly, Tyla has more than earned her spot on the 2026 Met steps—here’s hoping for many more years to come.

Tyla’s vibrant tonight continues her winning streak of memorable Met appearances. Last year, when she also served on the hosting committee, she donned a white pinstriped Jacquemus gown, paired with vintage-inspired glam. In 2024, meanwhile, she broke the internet when she emerged in a moulded-sand Balmain number. (Yes, it was made with three layers of actual sand, mixed in with micro crystal studs.)
